About the Founder

My name is Clara, and I founded Watch Women Win in February of 2025. Growing up, I was passionate about sports and spent much of my time playing basketball and soccer. Long before the WNBA existed, I dreamed of a professional women’s basketball league. This lifelong love of sports and my experiences as a fan inspired me to create and build spaces in our community dedicated to celebrating women’s sports.

Our Mission

Many of us have experienced the frustration of trying to watch women’s sports at bars or restaurants, only to face pushback, muted games, or a lack of TVs showing the events. Watch Women Win aims to change that by creating a welcoming environment where women’s sports and community come together.

What We Do

I am partnering with local businesses to identify venues that can host events centered around women’s sports. These gatherings include unique formats, such as exclusive events, contests, trivia, community engagement, group sporting events, and more. Our goal is to build a vibrant community that rallies around women’s sports.

Watch Women Win is an in-person group open to anyone who wants to support and enjoy women’s sports. I started this group to connect with other members of the community who are committed to showing up for women’s sports.
